Established in 1987, the Connecticut-based Lippincott Foundation is a member of the Peace and Security Funders Group, an association of foundations, charitable trusts, and individual philanthropists who “make grants or expenditures that contribute to peace and global security.”

The Lippincott Foundation has given financial support to such organizations as the Institute for Policy Studies, and Trust for Public Land.
