A video surfaced Monday night in which CNN’s Chris Cuomo melts down over a perceived insult, spews profanities and threatens violence against an individual who referred to him as “Fredo,” after the weak son in the Corleone family in The Godfather.
“Punk ass bitches on the right call me Fredo. My name is Chris Cuomo. I’m an anchor on CNN,” he told the man, who repeatedly swore that he genuinely thought Cuomo’s name was Fredo. “Fredo is from The Godfather. He was the weak brother,” Cuomo continued, bizarrely claiming that to Italians, “Fredo” is the equivalent of the “N-word” for blacks.
“If you want to play, then we’ll fucking play… You know my name is not fucking Fredo. Own what you said… I’ll fucking ruin your shit,” Cuomo bullied, spiraling out of control. “I’ll fucking throw you down these stairs like a fucking punk.” The video clip ends as others intervene.
It remains to be seen whether Cuomo will face repercussions from CNN or condemnation from his fellow media leftists over this spectacle.
