A new poll shows that President Trump is viewed even more favorably in New York City than its Democrat mayor, presidential hopeful Bill de Blasio.
A Siena College Research Institute poll found de Blasio held a 29% favorable/53% unfavorable rating, while Trump got a 34% favorable/63 % unfavorable rating. De Blasio received a dismal 0% support in a Des Moines Register/Mediacom/CNN Iowa Poll for president published Saturday, and was one of only two 2020 Democrat candidates who were neither the 1st or 2nd choice for president among respondents.
Trump had reacted to de Blasio’s campaign announcement months ago by calling him the United States’ “worst mayor” and a “joke.” “NYC HATES HIM!” he added.
