Filmmaker Michael Moore had to step in and remind gun control activist David Hogg that Canadian citizens can’t meddle in U.S. elections, after a screening Moore’s anti-Trump documentary Fahrenheit 11/9 at the Toronto Film Festival.
As Hogg urged Canadians to help make America a better country, he turned to Moore for confirmation: “I think Canadians can donate to political campaigns in the United States.” When Moore shook his head, Hogg added, “They can’t?”
