CNN commentator Marc Lamont Hill drew applause from diplomats in a U.N. speech Wednesday calling for a “free Palestine from the river to the sea” — the advocating the elimination of Israel.
During a special meeting of the Committee on the Exercise of the Inalienable Rights of the Palestinian People, Hill accused the Israeli government of “normalizing settler colonialism.” He finished his speech by saying that “justice requires a free Palestine from the river to the sea.”
“Those calling for ‘from the river to the sea’ are calling for an end to the State of Israel,” said Sharon Nazarian, the Anti-Defamation League’s senior vice president for international affairs.
