Monday on CNN’s Tonight, former Vice President Al Gore told propagandist host Don Lemon that Republicans believe the United States “would be better if the wealthy and powerful” voted.
Asked about the GOP purportedly restricting the voting rights of “black and brown voters,” Gore replied, “This is really and truly un-American, Don. This is a naked effort trying to suppress black, brown and indigenous voters. Suppress any kind of votes from people who they think will not go for the far-right, promote-the-interests-of-the-wealthy program.”
A bald-faced lie. The only votes Republicans are trying to suppress is illegal ones. Those, however, are the ones Democrats need to win elections, so they cover that by going on the offensive and claiming the right is trying to suppress minority votes.
“I think [the GOP] actually believe that this country would be better if the wealthy and powerful had more control over all the decisions,” continued the wealthy and powerful Gore, whose Party of wealthy and powerful elites now rules America. Contrary to the old Democrat chestnut that Republicans are the party of the rich, it is now demonstrable fact that they are the party of the people.
Gore went on to state another whopper of a lie, that “there is no record of voter fraud — one or two little cases every once in awhile.” One or two little cases every once in awhile. The left’s capacity for lying through their teeth is boundless.
