Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg was released from Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York on Wednesday after undergoing surgery to remove two cancerous nodules from her lungs.
“Justice Ginsburg was discharged from the hospital yesterday and is recuperating at home,” the Center said in a statement. Doctors discovered the cancerous growths after they tested her when she fell in November and fractured a few ribs.
In a supportive spirit, leftist documentary filmmaker Michael Moore topped his Christmas tree with a Ginsburg doll. “My Christmas Tree Topper this year. Better than an angel or the star over Bethlehem. A nation of millions stand with you…” Moore wrote on Twitter.
