In a video appearance from her home, progressive activist, former actress, and Vietnam-era traitor Jane Fonda declared astonishingly that she believes the coronavirus pandemic is “God’s gift to the left.”
“I just think that COVID is God’s gift to the Left,” Fonda said. “That’s a terrible thing to say. I think it was a very difficult thing to send down to us, but it has ripped the Band-Aid off who [President Trump] is and what he stands for and what is being done to average people and working people in this country.”
In a terrible sense, Fonda is right about the disease being a gift to the left, because the Democrats, always conscious of taking advantage of a good crisis, have weaponized it against Trump by blaming him for it and for the economic havoc it has wreaked thanks to the draconian lockdowns and murderous incompetence of local Democrat leaders across the country.
So in fact, the coronavirus has ripped the Band-Aid off just who the left is and what it stands for: the ruthless will to political power.
“We are people who can help determine which way humanity goes. What a great gift,” Fonda continued rapturously. “What a tremendous opportunity, we’re just so lucky, we just have to use it with every ounce of intelligence and courage and wherewithal we have,” adding that the left could “harness the anger” to push its agenda.
