Lethally incompetent New York Mayor Bill de Blasio took to Twitter on Tuesday to declare falsely that former President Trump “gave the order” to attack the U.S. Capitol on January 6, referencing.
“‘We will stop the steal.’ ‘We’re gonna walk down to the Capitol.’ ‘We fight like hell. And if you don’t fight like hell, we’re not gonna have a country anymore,’” de Blasio tweeted, quoting Trump. “Donald Trump gave the order. He unleashed his mob on the U.S. Capitol. Convict him NOW.”
In the cherry-picked montage of Trump comments from the January 6 demonstration prior to the chaos at the U.S. Capitol later that day, which the House impeachment managers played on the first day of the Senate’s sham impeachment trial, De Blasio’s fellow Democrats curiously omitted the fact that Trump stressed the importance of a peaceful and patriotic protest.
De Blasio failed to mention this also, because Democrats are power-mad liars and hypocrites who refuse to take responsibility for their own violent incitement last year against Trump supporters, and yet they leap at the opportunity to smear Trump for an “incitement” he demonstrably did not commit.
