Tuesday on MSNBC’s The ReidOut, House Majority Whip Jim Clyburn declared that Republican Rep. Mo Brooks should be ashamed of himself for his pledge to challenge the Electoral College.
“I think Mo Brooks is being what I consider to be a very non-patriotic person,” Clyburn told propagandist host Joy Reid. “The fact of the matter is he knows that Biden won by more than 7 million votes. He knows that he got the same number of votes in the Electoral College that his candidate got four years ago. What is this all about?”
Fact check: false. Trump was on his way to a landslide electoral victory when the Democrats realized they needed to step up their voter fraud and corrupt the entire election process. That’s what Brooks’ challenge is about.
“Mo Brooks ought to be ashamed of himself,” Clyburn continued to rant. “We are trying to work to improve the country, to improve the state that we represent, and this is not an improvement for the state of Alabama for him to take this on.”
Democrats aren’t trying to improve the country. They’re trying to steal the election, because all they care about is acquiring power.
