Other books Arkin has authored or co-authored include: The Internet and Strategic Studies (1998); Encyclopedia of the U.S. Military (1990); Nuclear Weapons Databook: U.S. Nuclear Warhead Production (1987); U.S. Nuclear Warhead Facility Profiles (1987); and Research Guide to Current Military and Strategic Affairs (1981). On behalf of the National Security Archive, Arkin in 1994 began to update the 1981 volume, an effort that resulted in the 1998 publication of The US Military Online: A Directory for Internet Access to the Department of Defense.
