Robert Greenwald has lectured at Harvard University for the Nieman Foundation for Journalism, and he speaks about his work frequently in venues across the United States. On May 10, 2007, he addressed the U.S. House Appropriations Subcommittee on Defense regarding alleged war profiteering by American corporations (like Halliburton) with political ties to the Bush Administration. In 2013 he returned to Capitol Hill, this time to discuss with lawmakers the dangers of weaponized unmanned aerial vehicles (drones)—which were the subject of his newly released documentary, Unmanned: America’s Drone Wars.
