* Lenni Brenner has written over 100 articles for many publications, including the Amsterdam News, the Anderson Valley Advertizer, the Atlanta ConstitutionCounterPunch, the Jewish Guardian, the Nation, the Washington Report on Middle East AffairsMiddle East PolicyMiddle East International, the Journal of Palestine Studies, the New Statesman of London, Al-Fajr in Jerusalem, and the United Irishman in Dublin.

* Brenner is the author of 4 books: (a) Zionism in the Age of the Dictators, (b) The Iron Wall: Zionist Revisionism from Jabotinsky to Shamir, (c) Jews in America Today, and (d) The Lesser Evil: The Democratic Party.

* In 1963 Brenner organized the Committee for Narcotic Reform (in Berkeley, California).

* In 1968 Brenner co-founded the National Association for Irish Justice, the American affiliate of the Northern Ireland Civil Rights Association.

* In 1986 Brenner ran unsuccessfully for a U.S. Senate seat representing California.

* In the early 1990s, Brenner and Black Panther co-founder Bobby Sealeappeared on television to defend the violent radicalism in which the Panthers had engaged in their heyday.

* In 1990 and 1992, Brenner spoke at Socialist Scholars Conferences in New York City.

* Brenner was a great admirer of the late Columbia University professor Edward Said, who once served as a member of the Palestinian National Council. “I know through personal experience that no more honest human exists,” Brenner said of Professor Said in April 2001.

* In 2002, Brenner edited 51 Documents: Zionist Collaboration with the Nazis, which is his best-known work. It contains complete translations of many of the documents quoted in Zionism in the Age of the Dictators and The Iron Wall.

In May 2007 at UC Irvine, Brenner gave a speech entitled “Zio-Nazis,” wherein he claimed that all Zionists are racists.

* In 2013, Brenner and historian Matthew Quest co-authored Black Liberation and Palestine Solidarity, a collection of selected essays that “discusses the historical response of African American freedom movements to the colonial settler state of Israel and its role in American Imperialism in the Middle East.”
