Overview


* Kimberle Crenshaw has received numerous honors and awards over the course of her academic career, including the Fulbright Chair for Latin America in Brazil, an Alphonse Fletcher Sr. Fellowship, and an in-residence fellowship at the Stanford University Center of Advanced Behavioral Studies. In 2012, Crenshaw was honored as a “Freedom Sister” for a Museum of Tolerance exhibit focusing on “historic and contemporary women who have worked for freedom and equality for all Americans.”

* Crenshaw has twice been elected Professor of the Year at UCLA Law School, in 1991 and 1994.
