Overview


* In 1985-1986, Halleck was the media director at Rutgers University’s Mason Gross School of the Arts.

* In 1985, 1987, and 1991, Halleck was an artist-in-residence at the Chicago Art Institute.

* In 1989 Halleck was a visiting professor at Bard College.

* In 1990-91, Halleck worked on project development for the Satellite University Network of CUNY’s Center for Puerto Rican Studies.

* Halleck has received three awards for lifetime achievement: the George Stoney Award from the Alliance for Community Media; The Lifetime Achievement Award of the National Alliance for Media Arts and Culture; and the Herbert Schiller Award (from the 2003 Schmio Awards).

* Halleck was once a member of the MacBride Roundtable on International Communication.
