The American Committee for the World Congress Against War (WCAW) was a Communist-led peace organization of the 1930s that protested against the arming of the United States, Britain, and France in the years preceding World War II. It was an American sister organization to the World Congress Against Imperialist War, which was created to protect Joseph Stalin and promote American appeasement.
