With the Los Angeles Lakers’ win-loss record well below .500 as the season nears a close, woke activist and basketball blowhard LeBron James boiled over in frustration as he unleashed two profanity-laced outbursts during a 114-103 loss to the Toronto Raptors on Tuesday.

After getting called for a foul in the second quarter, LeBron exploded and repeatedly slammed the ball on the floor while screaming F-bombs and other choice curses.

Later in the game he savagely and intentionally spiked the ball in the face of a Toronto player while trying to save the ball from going out of bounds.

The Lakers had been crushed by the Phoenix Suns 140-111 the night before, which no doubt partly explains LeBron’s anger. But it doesn’t justify this kind of ugly behavior. He’s supposed to be a professional and a role model for young sports fans.

Maybe the most hated man in basketball should do less lashing out and more looking inward.
