Whitmer: Republican Election Reform Laws ‘Unacceptable’

April 2, 2021

In a video interview for MSNBC, Michigan’s tyrannical Governor Gretchen Whitmer slammed Republicans for “trying to make it harder for people to vote,” saying GOP election reform laws are “unacceptable.”

“We just came through a historic, free, fair, full election. There was not fraud the way that this big lie perpetuated and fed into people’s anxieties and inspired the unthinkable on January 6,” Whitmer told MSNBC, with a pillow featuring the smiling face of Dr. Fauci sitting on a shelf behind her.

“But, the fact of the matter is, this is a solution in search of a problem and it is unacceptable and so, if and when those bills get to my desk and they’re aiming to make it harder for people to vote, they will get vetoed.”

Election integrity laws do not make it harder for people to vote, which is an absolutely false charge. They are designed to make it harder for voters to cheat. This is what Whitmer and her fellow Democrats find truly “unacceptable,” because they depend on massive voter fraud to win elections.
