On MSNBC’s AM Joy Sunday, Rep. Maxine Waters said she is eager for President Trump and his cabinet to be gone because they are “hurting our country.”
“I am going to be so happy when they’re all out of here,” Waters said. “They are hurting our country. They are undermining our democracy, and they’re being very destructive. I hope the American people can see that if we allow this president and his cabinet to get away of what they are doing, they will be destroying the presidency and that office forever.”
This is typical fact-free demagoguery from Waters, who has done nothing for three years but call for Trump’s impeachment and the harassment of his supporters.
Waters also noted on the show that Secretary of HUD Ben Carson lacks “the intelligence” to hold that position. “This guy just doesn’t have the background, the capability, the intelligence to do the job. He does not know what he’s doing,” she claimed. Let that sink in. Maxine Waters — Maxine Waters — thinks brain surgeon Carson isn’t smart enough to handle his job.
