In an interview with Cosmopolitan published Thursday, presidential contender Elizabeth Warren suggested Americans should be worried about being drawn into World War III over Iran.
Asked if we should be worried about World War III in the wake of President Trump’s elimination of Iranian terror chief Qasem Soleimani, Warren responded, “Yes, we should be worried about war.” She conceded that Soleimani was a “bad guy,” but his elimination “has not made America safer.”
“Look where we are today,” she added. “We have halted the actions against ISIS that we were taking with our allies. We have ordered American civilians out of the entire region because we are worried for their safety. And as you said, we have a president issuing threats to commit war crimes through his tweeting. That doesn’t make America safer.”
Actually, a display of American moral resolve and military strength certainly will make us safer than the usual Democrat tactic of appeasement.
