Warren: Trump Calling for ‘Illegal, State-Sponsored Killing’

June 1, 2020

Failed presidential candidate and radical harpy Elizabeth Warren on Friday accused President Trump of advocating for “illegal, state-sponsored killing” after he threatened to bring in the National Guard to deal with Minneapolis rioters in the wake of George Floyd’s death.

“I can’t stand back & watch this happen to a great American City, Minneapolis,” Trump tweeted on Thursday. “A total lack of leadership. Either the very weak Radical Left Mayor, Jacob Frey, get his act together and bring the City under control, or I will send in the National Guard & get the job done right.”

He added that “when the looting starts, the shooting starts,” later clarifying that he meant looting and rioting inevitably lead to someone getting shot, and that is in fact what happened.

Nevertheless, Warren pounced, on Twitter: “Trump is calling for violence against Black Americans. His advocacy of illegal, state-sponsored killing is horrific. Politicians who refuse to condemn it share responsibility for the consequences.” No, politicians who refuse to condemn the rioting should share responsibility for the consequences.
