Sen. Elizabeth Warren chimed in on social media both before and after the release of the Special Counsel report on Thursday exonerating President Trump of collusion with Russia in the 2016 election, joining her Democrat colleagues in condemning Attorney General William Barr’s press conference and calling for Robert Mueller to testify before Congress.
“It’s a disgrace to see an Attorney General acting as if he’s the personal attorney and publicist for the President of the United States,” Warren tweeted. “The American people deserve answers—and Special Counsel Robert Mueller should testify publicly before Congress,” she added.
