White House hopeful Elizabeth Warren became giddy over a glowing endorsement on Monday from Grammy-winning singer and anti-Trump activist John Legend.
In an interview with Vanity Fair, Legend praised Warren as “the best candidate running today and she comes at it with joy and with sincerity and with a wealth of knowledge and experience.” He went on to wonder aloud why “guys feel so threatened by the idea of a woman president.”
No American feels threatened by the idea of a woman president. All patriotic Americans, however, feel threatened by the idea of a social justice-obsessed, gun-confiscating, radical socialist president.
“I’m grateful down to my toes for your support, @johnlegend!” tweeted Warren. “Looking forward to the day @chrissyteigen doesn’t have to fight with the president of the United States on Twitter,” referring to Legend’s wife, a former model who spews anti-Trump profanities almost daily on social media.
