Tuesday on the Senate floor, Sen. Elizabeth Warren called for the impeachment of President Trump in response to Mitch McConnell calling “case closed” on the investigation into Russian election collusion.
“I took an oath to uphold the Constitution of the United States, and so did everybody in the Senate and the House, including the majority leader,” said Warren. “And now we must act to fulfill that oath. There is no political inconvenience exception to the United States Constitution.
“If any other human being in this country had done what’s documented in the Mueller report, they would be arrested and put in jail,” she added.
