Kamala on DeSantis: Any Push to Censor America’s Teachers is ‘Wrongheaded’

Friday on MSNBC’s Andrea Mitchell Reports, national embarrassment Vice President Kamala Harris said she believes it is “wrongheaded” for Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL) to “censor” what is taught in Florida schools.

Propagandist Andrea Mitchell asked, “Let me ask you, what does Governor Ron DeSantis not know about black history and the black experience when he says that slavery and the aftermath of slavery should not be taught to Florida schoolchildren?”

Hold it right there. This is a blatant lie. Mitchell knows full well that DeSantis has never said slavery shouldn’t be taught. So-called black history is actually required in Florida’s schools, and DeSantis supports that. Mitchell knows full well that what DeSantis wants to eliminate from the classroom is the Marxist indoctrination of Critical Race Theory (CRT).

The epically incompetent VP Kamala replied, “I don’t know what he knows and what he doesn’t know, but I know this, any push to censor America’s teachers and tell them what they should be teaching in the best interest of our children in partnership with the parents of America, is I think, wrongheaded.”

She added, “The people who know our children best are their parents and their teachers in terms of the time they spend and the investment they’ve placed in the brains and capacity of our children who are our nation’s future. And it should not be some politician saying what should be taught in our classrooms.”

This is just rhetorical fluff, which is the only political commentary Kamala is capable of. Tragically, the culture war has reached a point at which Republican politicians must use the power of the state to rid our corroded education system of Marxist indoctrination like CRT, which is being taught as a legitimate perspective on black history when in fact it is demonstrably false and ideologically subversive.

Leftists like Mitchell and Kamala only want the government out of the classroom when the ideology being promoted there aligns with the leftist agenda.
