Violent Antifa protests broke out over the weekend in Portland, Oregon, following a pre-planned “End of Domestic Terrorism” event taking place in the city.
City officials had been preparing for potential clashes of protesters, with the police force at the ready and additional agencies on standby. Journalist Andy Ngo – who warned that Saturday’s events had the potential to be a “powder keg” – posted videos on social media depicting violent, masked Anfifa thugs attacking a bus and attempting to pull passengers out of the vehicle.
Another Ngo video shows a man allegedly maced and beaten by an Antifa mob. “He was knocked unconscious to the ground. His partner or spouse was trying to protect him as mob still surrounded them. No police,” Ngo stated. If the equivalent of Nazi brownshirts are allowed to roam the streets in violent mobs, then the city’s officials have either lost control of the streets or are using the thugs to do their dirty work.
President Trump has declared that he is considering designating Antifa a domestic terrorism organization.
