President Trump told the press on Thursday that he could not predict whether Democrat frontrunner Joe Biden would ultimately be the party’s nominee, dismissing the gaffe-prone, lifelong politician as “a sleepy guy in the basement.”
“I can’t tell you what’s going to happen,” Trump said, referring to the November election. “We have a sleepy guy in the basement of a house that the press is giving a free pass to, who doesn’t want to do debates because of Covid.” He’s right about the activist media, who have totally ignored recent sexual misconduct allegations against Biden, for example.
On the question of whether Biden will actually be the nominee of the Democrat party, Trump said, “They’re keeping him sheltered because of coronavirus and he’s not moving around too much. Whether or not he’s going to be the nominee, I don’t have any idea.”
Even though Biden is the only Democrat player left on the field, his increasingly hard-to-conceal senility makes it’s very unlikely he will end up as the nominee.
