Radical, anti-Semitic Rep. Rashida Tlaib reacted to the police-involved shooting death of Daunte Wright, which kicked off rioting and looting in Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, late Sunday night, by calling for an end to “policing, incarceration, and militarization.”
“It wasn’t an accident,” Tlaib tweeted, referring to bodycam footage which seems to suggest that the officer who fired on Wright accidentally pulled her gun instead of a Taser. “Policing in our country is inherently & intentionally racist.”
This is not only a demonstrably false argument, but an ugly and inflammatory one that is guaranteed only to incite more rioting, violence, and racial tension.
“Daunte Wright was met with aggression & violence,” she added, ignoring the fact that Wright was fleeing police and resisting arrest, as well as in illegal possession of a gun. “I am done with those who condone government funded murder.”
“No more policing, incarceration, and militarization,” Tlaib concluded. “It can’t be reformed.”
No more policing or prison (except, presumably, for Trump supporters whom she considers domestic terrorists). What does she think black communities are going to look like with no police or prisons to hold criminals in check? They will become gang-run, drug-infested, sex-trafficking hell-holes overnight (if they aren’t already, in Democrat-run inner cities), and those who will suffer will be law-abiding black families and minority-owned businesses.
