Earlier this week while speaking on the U.S. Senate floor, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer committed an hilarious gaffe, misspeaking the word “insurrection” and declaring instead that former President Trump had led an “erection” against the U.S. government at the Capitol on January 6.
“Make no mistake, there will be a trial, and when that trial ends, senators will have to decide if they believe Donald John Trump incited the erection,” Schumer stated before correcting himself.
Then, during the introduction of ABC’s This Week on Sunday, the “erection” portion of Schumer’s remarks apparently had been edited out, demonstrating just how quickly the news media will cover for Democrat Party leaders who embarrass themselves. Imagine if it had been former President Trump who had made such a verbal blunder. The media would have had a field day mocking him.
That is because the media are not journalists but political activists and, as Trump often said, the enemies of the people.
