In an interview with MSNBC on Friday, former National Security Adviser and U.N. ambassador Susan Rice criticized Richard Grenell, President Trump’s choice to serve as acting Director of National Intelligence, calling him “dishonest” and “a hack and a shill.”
“The problem is not that Rick Grenell has absolutely no preparation or background or knowledge to be the DI… The problem is that Rick Grenell is one of the most nasty, dishonest people I’ve ever encountered,” Rice claimed, which is quite a claim considering she worked under former President Barack Obama. “I’m not using this language lightly. He is a hack and a shill, and that’s all he’s ever been.
“And he has been put in that job for one reason only,” she continued, “which is to turn the intelligence community into a tool for the president’s re-election.”
Besides the fact that a condemnation from Rice speaks well for Grenell, she too was put into that job for one reason: to turn the intelligence community into a tool for Obama’s subversion of American power.
