Madison Moore, 21, a student at Mercer University in Georgia, has spoken out about presidential contender Joe Biden calling her a “lying, dog-faced pony soldier” during a New Hampshire town hall.
After Moore questioned his electability, Biden asked, “You ever been to a caucus?” When Moore claimed she had, Biden bizarrely, if jokingly, replied, “No, you haven’t. You’re a lying, dog-faced pony soldier.” The odd, old-fashioned insult set the internet abuzz as people puzzled over what Biden could have been thinking.
‘It was kind of humiliating to be called a liar on national TV by the former vice president,” Moore told the Daily Mail on Monday. “Instead of answering that question straightforward, his immediate response was to attempt to invalidate me by exposing my inexperience.”
Moore added, rightly, that Biden’s response suggests his campaign is in serious trouble. “He has been performing extremely poorly in this race and the fact that he couldn’t just straight answer my question without bullying or intimidating just exacerbates that fact.”
