During a recent Democrat Steering and Policy Committee meeting, Rep. Steve Cohen claimed that former President Bill Clinton was nearly impeached “over sex” while President Trump is “raping the country.”
Cohen demanded in the meeting that Democrats impeach Trump, but House Speaker Nancy Pelosi rejected the idea, calling it a distraction from the Democrats’ messaging.
That’s when Cohen reportedly said that Clinton was going to get impeached over “sex,” while Trump is “raping the country.” He later confirmed those remarks to Politico.
