On CNN’s Anderson Cooper 360 Tuesday, film director Spike Lee put his full ignorance on display by declaring President Trump “a white supremacist.”
“I think that most woke historians would say that this country, the United States of America, was built upon the genocide of people and slavery. I mean, that’s a fact,” Lee began, neglecting to admit that “woke historians” are by definition leftist propagandists.
“Another thing I’d like to say respectfully, why are we still asking is this guy [Trump] a white supremacist? I mean, like, it’s not even the question. I mean, the Muslim ban, all Mexicans are rapists, drug dealers,” he added, citing the Left’s favorite talking points about the President, although Trump never instituted a Muslim ban or called all Mexicans rapists and drug dealers.
Lee went on to repeat the lie that Trump called neo-Nazis in Charlottesville “good people”: “I mean, that quote, that’s going to be attached to him. He’s going to be on the wrong side of history, and that’s the first thing they will say, that quote.” Only if the Left keeps repeating it often enough to stick, which is their intent.
