In his annual speech at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, leftwing billionaire financier George Soros launched an attack on “authoritarian rulers” President Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping, calling Trump a “conman and the ultimate narcissist.”
Soros said Trump and Xi pose the biggest threat to “open societies,” which Soros supports through many of his open borders organizations such as the Open Society Foundation. “Both try to extend the powers of their office to its limit and beyond. Trump is willing to sacrifice the national interests for his personal interests and he will do practically anything to win re-election. By contrast, Xi Jinping is eager to exploit Trump’s weaknesses and use artificial intelligence to achieve total control over his people.”
“The world would be a better place if they weren’t in power,” Soros added, before pledging $1 billion toward a new global university network to tackle nationalism.
The world would be a better place without the radical influence and power of George Soros.
