During a press conference on Tuesday, Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer said he agrees with prematurely-proclaimed President-Elect Joe Biden’s plan to grant transgender children access to sports, bathrooms, and locker rooms according to their gender self-identification.
Schumer was asked, “Joe Biden said that on his first day of office, he will give transgender students access to sports, bathrooms, and locker rooms in accordance with their gender identity in all federally-funded schools. Do you think he has the ability to do this, and do you agree with this decision?”
“I agree with the decision, and I know he’ll check things out thoroughly, legally,” Schumer replied.
Of course he agrees. The far-left has elevated transgenderism to the top of identity politics victimhood. Far from being considered a medical/psychological condition that should be treated, it is now celebrated in the culture. This has led to predatory male individuals taking advantage of our woke national lunacy to gain unquestioned access to women’s bathrooms and locker rooms, and to dominate women’s sports simply by “self-identifying” as transgender. Biden and Schumer don’t care about the ramifications of this for women.
