Wednesday on MSNBC’s The Last Word, House Intelligence Committee chairman Rep. Adam Schiff claimed that blaming impeachment for President Trump’s delayed reaction to the coronavirus pandemic is “an interesting acknowledgement that the administration screwed up this response.”
“The facts are quite clear that the president’s weeks-long, maybe months-long delay in taking this seriously has had catastrophic consequences that we are only now beginning to see the scope of,” Schiff claimed.
“They should stop making excuses,” he added. Schiff went on claim falsely that “the president continued for weeks and weeks” to minimize the coronavirus severity, all the while “ignoring the advice of the health experts, the epidemiologists, the CDC, his own people with catastrophic consequences.”
Schiff’s litany of lies, disseminated by the leftist activist news media like MSNBC’s propagandist The Last Word, is part of the coordinated Democrat smear campaign to make this pandemic Trump’s Katrina.
