Sanders: Trump’s a Liar But ‘Has a Right to Express His Views’ on Social Media

Wednesday on CNN’s AC360, lifelong communist Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) commented on former President Trump’s reinstatement to Facebook and Instagram by stating that while he thinks Trump “is a pathological liar,” he is the former President of the United States and does have a right to express himself online.

Host Anderson Cooper asked, “Just briefly, do you think it’s the right choice for Facebook and Instagram to have President Trump back?”

Sanders responded, “You know, it’s — look, you have a guy who is a pathological liar, but he happens to be the former President of the United States. And he has a right to express his views.”

Yes, he does. But Trump wasn’t kicked off social media for being a pathological liar. Social media is chock full of pathological liars, propagandists, and hate-mongers. Trump was banned from the leftist Big Tech platforms because he was Public Enemy #1 for the Democrat Party, and they had to silence him.

At least Bernie Sanders has enough integrity to admit that Trump has the right to express his views, and that as a former President, his views are of public and historical interest.
