White House hopeful Bernie Sanders responded to President Trump’s reelection kickoff Tuesday night with a video in which he attacked the president as “the most dangerous President in modern history of this country.”
Dismissing Trump’s speech as “an hour-and-a-half speech of lies, distortions, and total absolute nonsense,” Sanders complained, “We have a president who is a racist, who is a sexist, a homophobe, and he is a religious bigot, and his strategy to win reelection is to divide the American people up based on the color of our skin, based on where we were born, based on our religion, based on our sexual orientation.”
He added, “Our job, most importantly, is to defeat the most dangerous President in the modern history of this country” and create “a decent life for all people.”
