Sanders: Israel Has Right to Exist, But Netanyahu is Racist

December 20, 2019

During Thursday’s Democrat debate, Sen. Bernie Sanders said he believes Israel has a right to exist, but that its Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is a “racist.”

“Israel has — and I say this as somebody who lived in Israel as a kid, [I’m] proudly Jewish – Israel has the right to exist, not only to exist, but to exist in peace and security. But what U.S. foreign policy must be about is not just being pro-Israel. We must be pro-Palestinian as well.” This nonsense garnered loud applause from the Israel-haters in the audience. It is quite simply impossible to be both pro-Israel and pro-“Palestinian” because the “Palestinians” will never be satisfied with anything short of Israel’s complete eradication.

“And whether — in my view, we must understand that right now in Israel we have leadership under Netanyahu, who has recently, as you know, been indicted for bribery, who, in my view, is a racist,” Sanders declared.

This also is nonsense, and hateful. But Sanders is more leftist than he is Jewish, and thus he embraces the left’s unholy alliance with radical Islam.
