Sanders: Climate Change Deniers ‘Should Not Be in Congress’

September 2, 2019

Sen. Bernie Sanders declared on Twitter Sunday that skeptics of man-made climate change should not be allowed to serve in Congress.

“If you don’t believe in climate change you should not be in Congress,” the self-proclaimed Democratic Socialist Sanders tweeted. “Donald Trump says climate change is not a serious issue. Allow me to respectfully disagree with our ‘stable genius’ president—I happen to believe the scientists,” he wrote in a separate tweet.

But which scientists, since there are plenty who do not subscribe to the Progressive dogma preached by radicals in Congress like Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, who claims that mankind has only twelve years left? The “97 percent” consensus Sanders often cites does not exist.

White House hopeful Sanders, who identifies climate change as the “single greatest challenge facing our country,” has proposed a $16.3 trillion, big-government Green New Deal to save mankind.

Perhaps believers in socialism should not be in Congress.
