The Russian pranksters infamous for tricking House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff into seeking nude pictures of President Trump are claiming that they just tricked Rep. Maxine Waters.
YouTubers Vladimir Kuznetsov and Alexey Stolyarov recently called Waters’ office with accomplices pretending to be teen climate change activist Greta Thunberg and her father. They claimed to have a taped confession from Trump admitting to the charges in House Democrats’ articles of impeachment.
Among other farcical moments, “Greta” tells Waters she met Trump at the United Nations and recorded him insulting her and admitting to threatening Ukraine’s president. Waters responds, “You bring it to me. You tell me what day you can get there. And we’ll arrange to meet with you as quickly as we can.”
She assured the callers that “we are working very hard, we’re putting together the facts, and we’re going after him. We are going to try everything that we have to impeach him… This will go against him, too.”
