Wednesday on MSNBC’s The Rachel Maddow Show, former National Security Adviser Susan Rice made the wildly irrational claim that President Trump “sends troops into the streets of our cities to attack peaceful protesters,” referring to federal agents sent to failed Democrat-led urban areas to protect federal property under assault from violent rioters.
“Rachel, this is an extraordinary circumstance that we find ourselves in,” Rice began. “We’ve never, at least in our lifetimes, had a President of the United States who has told us that he may not abide by the results of the election, has told us that he may seek to delay the election itself, has told us that he’s going to cast doubt on the legitimacy of mail-in ballots and go out of his way to make it as hard as possible for Americans to exercise their constitutional right to vote…
“And then he sends troops into the streets of our cities to attack peaceful protesters,” Rice asserted. “The range of possible threats that he poses to our democracy is truly quite mind-boggling.”
What’s truly mind-boggling is the degree to which the left will openly lie about a reality Americans can plainly see for themselves, and the degree to which the left’s media enablers like MSNBC will cover for them.
