Filmmaker and anti-Trump hysteric Rob Reiner took to social media, as celebrity virtue-signalers are wont to do, once again to accuse the President of treason, asserting that Trump is “siding with Russia” over the U.S.
Reiner has accused Trump of crimes so often it isn’t news anymore. In the past, Reiner has accused Trump of “shredding” and “defecating” on the Constitution, a document the left cares nothing about except when they wrap themselves in it to declare Trump a fascist.
“Russia is attacking US. Trump is siding with Russia. Trump is committing Treason,” the “Meathead” actor from All in the Family tweeted. Treason, of course, is a high crime punishable by imprisonment for at least five years and a fine of at least $10,000. In the worst-case scenario, the punishment for treason is death. The prospect of Trump’s execution would no doubt send Reiner and his ilk into ecstatic celebration.
The same people howling that Trump is a Russian operative also want Bernie Sanders, a lifelong communist, to be President.
