In an angry and irrational tweet on Saturday, former All in the Family “Meathead” and anti-Trump hysteric Rob Reiner accused Republican lawmakers planning on challenging the election results of committing “Sedition and Treason.”
“Every Senator and Congressperson who votes to overturn the election will be committing an act of Sedition and Treason. Their names will be recorded for history,” Reiner blustered on Twitter.
GOP senators including Sens. Ted Cruz, Marsha Blackburn, Steve Daines, John Kennedy, and Mike Braun are joining Sen. Josh Hawley in objecting to the fraudulent electoral college votes which have tilted the election toward Reiner’s candidate Joe Biden. At least 140 Republicans in the House of Representatives will be joining the challenge.
Reiner’s hateful fantasy has no basis in law. In fact, four years ago, several House Democrats objected to the electoral results of Trump’s 2016 presidential victory — but apparently Biden fundraiser Reiner has no complaint when his side does it.
