Filmmaker and unhinged anti-Trump critic Rob Reiner took to Twitter on Tuesday to declare hysterically that President Trump is “causing people in NY to DIE” from the coronavirus pandemic.
“There’s no other way to put this: Donald Trump is causing people in NY to DIE,” tweeted All in the Family “Meathead” Reiner. Another mentally unstable celebrity, Trump-hating Cher, who recently deleted her tweet pronouncing the president a “liar” and “murderer,” retweeted Reiner’s fact-free accusation.
As Breitbart News notes, New York has over 30,000 confirmed cases of the coronavirus. Gov. Andrew Cuomo has continued to stress the importance of “social distancing” and has threatened to shut down playgrounds if New Yorkers do not heed his warnings.
Left-leaning celebrities are unhelpful whiners at the best of times, but during the coronavirus pandemic, they and the anti-Trump news media have exploited the crisis to maintain a relentless attack on the president they fear will win reelection in November.
