Immigrants, not citizens and their children, are the “lifeblood” of America declared former top Democrat Sen. Harry Reid in a statement criticizing President Trump’s call for a reform of the birthright citizenship rules.
“Immigrants are the lifeblood of our nation,” Reid said. “They are our power and our strength.”
“This president wants to destroy not build, to stoke hatred not unify. He can tweet whatever he wants while sitting around watching TV,” Reid added, “but he is profoundly wrong.”
