‘Rachel Maddow Show’ Plunges to Fifth in Cable News

July 31, 2019

In the wake of former Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s disastrous appearance before Congress defending his report on the much-hyped “Russia collusion,” MSNBC’s The Rachel Maddow Show plunged to fifth among cable news programs during the month of July.

The show starring collusion conspiracy theorist Rachel Maddow finished behind Fox News Channel’s Hannity, Tucker Carlson Tonight, The Ingraham Angle, and The Five, and she is in danger of dropping to sixth behind Special Report with Bret Baier.

Previously MSNBC had touted Maddow as cable news’ most-watched host, much of her popularity on the strength of her obsession with promoting allegations that he colluded with Russia to win the 2016 election over Hillary Clinton.

Once that theory bit the dust (although the Left refuses to accept Mueller’s investigation findings), Maddow’s ratings plummeted.
