Pro-Palestinian Groups Call for ‘Day of Rage’ Against Israel

June 29, 2020

Pro-Palestinian groups are calling for “Day of Rage” rallies across the U.S. on Wednesday, the day Israel will begin annexing parts of the West Bank.

Students for Justice in Palestine, Jewish Voice for Peace, the Samidoun Palestinian Prisoner Solidarity Network, the Palestinian Right to Return Coalition, and American Muslims for Palestine have organized protests in major cities from Brooklyn to Los Angeles.

Samidoun, which has ties to the terror group PFLP, the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, has called for “direct actions and popular mobilization” and declared “loyalty to the martyrs.” “On this day of rage, we will also be standing in solidarity with our Black and Indigenous communities,” Samidoun said.

In a letter to L.A. Mayor Eric Garcetti, the advocacy group Zachor Legal Institute warned Samidoun is “providing material support to foreign terror groups in violation of United States federal law,” and that “there is every reason to believe that the planned July 1 ‘Day of Rage’ will be a day of violence and antisemitism…”
