Pressley: Oppose Canceling Student Debt? You’re Racist

April 13, 2021

Monday on Twitter, far-left “Squad” member Rep. Ayanna Pressley proclaimed that it is not possible for an individual to be “anti-racist” if he or she is against canceling student loan debt.

“You can’t be anti-racist if you’re anti student debt cancellation,” she tweeted. For clarification: the left argues that there is no neutrality in combating racism. Simply not being racist isn’t enough; one either is racist, or actively “anti-racist.” So Pressley is saying that if you oppose the economic disaster and inherent unfairness of student debt cancellation, you must be racist.

Placeholder President Joe Biden himself has hinted at supporting some debt cancellation, but radicals like Pressley, Reps. Pramila Jayapal and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, and Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer demand “at least $50K in student debt right now,” as Pressley put it in February.

“You want to thank Black women?” she added. “Cancel student debt — all of it. Black women carry more student debt than any other group in America. Save your words of appreciation. Policy is our love language.”

No, race-mongering extortion is the left’s love language.
