The president and CEO of Planned Parenthood (PP) of Northern New England said Vermont is “the shining example” of pro-abortion legislation.
Referring to bill H.57, which declares abortion a “fundamental right,” and an amendment called Proposal 5 which protects a right to “personal reproductive liberty,” Meagan Gallagher, president and CEO of PP of Northern New England, said, “Vermont has established itself as the shining example for all other states by acknowledging that every person is capable of — and must be trusted to — make their own health care decisions without government interference.”
